Making a Difference!
Through the 2020 Chamber Foundation Holiday Food Drive, over $18,000.00 was raised through direct donations and in-kind donations in support of the Montrose Center. Of course, this incredible amount does not include the many donations of food from individuals who were able to Drive-Thru and Drop-Off FOR GOOD. The food donation is the largest donation that the Montrose Center has EVER received. Thank you!
The Chamber Holiday Food Drive is part of the ChamberCares initiative, which is a program of the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce and Greater Houston LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce Foundation to give back to the broader community.
Because of the Chamber Holiday Food Drive, the Montrose Center is able to:

Increase the number of meals in each of our holiday food boxes from 15 to 25

Provide food for both the Montrose Center's Outreach & COVID Pantries

Ensure The Montrose Center's COVID pantry can stay open throughout the remainder of the pandemic
